Not the theme park
I recently made a sketch of one of my characters having a suspicious look, I gave him oversized gloves, to make fun of a popular cartoon mouse and I had my character spray-painting over the silhouette of this famous cartoon. It wasnt for the brand or anything official I was just bored and sketching something out, it was just a little doodle in my notebook. Two days later, that exact graffiti popped up on a billboard across the street from this major theme park. It was all over the news, I was in shock, I opened my sketchbook and sure enough it was exactly the same. The news kept saying how awful this was and their looking for suspects but all I could focus on was the big bold letters that were graffitied “WE REMEMBER WHAT YOU STOLE”.
Since then, it hasn’t stopped everything I sketch actually ends up happening. My VaHaas characters are showing up everywhere. At first I was a little nervous and scared of the consequences but now I think it's amazing because it's free advertisement. I started my marketing campaign by drawing posters, adding them to the theme park maps, all I had to do was sketch it in my sketchbook and all of a sudden my characters were on the walls of these theme park rides. Its the perfect scenario because I'm not doing anything wrong or criminal. I'm just sketching in my book and its like the world is being rewritten or re-drawn.
But then it got scary because one of the characters stole my sketchbook and started drawing his own ideas, and that's when I panicked. He began drawing himself into the fireworks show. In the middle of this beautiful nightly event, a huge shadow of his face lit up the castle. No one could figure out how it got there. Within minutes, kids were crying. Parents were confused. Security shut the park down early. The next day, another VaHaas character showed up on a float during a parade. It wasn't like he was in a costume, he was physically there In full color. People thought it was part of the show until he started tearing the float apart and tearing down props and yelling that it was his theme park now and that he wanted the mouse. I've been worried ever since, so if you see any VaHaas characters around let me know.
