No more doodling
What started as scribbles of my VaHaas character in a highschool class, when I was bored and didn't want to pay attention, eventually turned into something way more interesting which was are streetwear line. However, these designs weren’t made to get through a class, they were made to be worn.
I personally spend a lot of time researching and developing every hoodie, shirt, and currently our prototype sneakers with designs that flips what you thought you remembered. Hoodies and shirts themselves aren't anything special, but the placement of logos, the logos themselves, the colors, the vibe, that’s what makes VaHaas different. The process isn’t as simple as dropping a logo on a blank tee. Each piece starts with a sketch and we really try to make sure the character is unique and VaHaas style, and we brainstorm if it even deserves being on clothing. From there, we test colors, placements, and if we want it printed or embroidered.
We’re not following trends either, I've always felt very strongly about not producing anything until it represents our style and brand. We’ve even delayed future drops because we want our clothes to be perfected. As we begin producing our upcoming animation scenes limited drops will be connected to these storylines. The long-term idea is to build a wearable catalog that represents the different stages of our brand and characters.
